Ashley Wood

Ashley is a social butterfly with a special love for the theatre. So, you can bet that you would never be bored when she’s around. In fact, her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is in Mass Media Communications with a minor in Theatre. Her favorite things to do in the theatre are work with costumes and makeup, though, so she’s happy to make her impact behind the scenes.

Now, Ashley is working toward a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education at UNC-Charlotte, and she’s a Marine Corps Scholarship recipient. (Not too shabby!)

In her former work life, she was an Administrative Assistant for an accounting firm and a manager of a Tommy Hilfiger Company Store. She has been an avid volunteer, too, for Relay for Life, Special Olympics, and the Britthaven Nursing Home. In her “spare” time (we’re still trying to figure out how she manages any), Ashley loves the outdoors, especially if her activities involve camping, whitewater rafting, or gardening.
