Dustin Long, Paralegal
Dustin Long
Did you think paralegals were studious, indoor types? Think again. Dustin is not only a surfer, a scuba diver, a wrestler, and a deep sea fisherman, but he was a firefighter and EMT with the Robinson Fire Department from 2000-2005. In fact, he was Robinson's Firefighter of the Year in 2003. His daredevil ways aren't restricted to the outdoors, though. He also plays bass in a rock band that tours North Carolina and has recorded two CDs.
But wait a minute. Dustin isn't just a rockin' jock either. He was nominated for a National Merit Scholarship and recently earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. He earned a U.S. Air Force ROTC scholarship and was involved in student government activities at UNC. He also won the University's Interfraternity Council Diamond Honor Award for Leadership.
This well-rounded guy has a soft side as well. Dustin volunteers with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and coaches a little league baseball team. Volunteering as a coach is a no-brainer because Dustin is an avid sports lover. He's a Panther Football season ticket holder and may be the only San Diego Padres fan on the East Coast.
One thing is for sure, Dustin can handle pressure. After fighting fires and taking care of the injured, he stays cool no matter how hot the situation becomes. This makes him perfect for a family law practice, where many clients are under a great deal of stress. Dustin not only does his job well, but he brings a calm energy to the Rosen office.
