Rosen Law Firm

Tammy Johnson, Attorney

Tammy Johnson

Don't be surprised if you never see Tammy wear the same pair of shoes twice (she has quite an obsession with shoes).

Tammy says she's a country girl at heart, having grown up in Fuquay, where you could catch a glimpse of her on the weekends riding four wheelers or hunting with her dad. But don't think for a minute this means she isn't worldly. Since her faith plays a very strong role in her life, in 2000 she taught more than 600 children in Africa during a 14-day missionary trip. The only problem was that none of them spoke English, so all of her teaching had to go through interpreters.

Obtaining an undergraduate degree in English and Psychology has been an excellent foundation for Tammy's career as a divorce attorney. Not only does she bring to the table superlative writing skills and extensive experience handling domestic cases, but she has a firm understanding of the emotional difficulties caused by divorce. She considers herself a friend to her clients, as well as their attorney, and wanted to focus on domestic law from day one.

While a student at Campbell Law School, Tammy made her mother especially proud when she became a member of the Trial Team. Prior to joining Rosen, she owned her own law firm and once settled a large alienation of affections case that involved the son of a member of the House of Representatives. Conducting a deposition with the high profile politician was one of the highlights of her career (and gave her mother something else to be proud of).

A self-confessed "social butterfly," Tammy also enjoys volunteer work which has included co-chairing the First Annual SAFE Golf Tournament for abused and battered women in 2004.

When not practicing law or shoe shopping, Tammy enjoys spending time with her large extended family, her Dachshund "Memphis", and the children in her life – her identical twin cousins, Raechel and Raegan, and her brand new baby "niece," Reagan.
