Anne Jenkins
Anne Haynes Jenkins holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in music and early childhood education, and is self taught in her art, though she has studied in many workshops under nationally recognized teachers and under Joe Cox at North Carolina State University. A contemporary impressionist artist, Anne paints primarily landscape and floral designs in the oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor media. An experienced teacher and watercolorist, she has been accepted in many juried shows and has won numerous awards and corporation purchases including banks, hospitals, universities and the McDonald Corporation. Her professional memberships include the North Carolina Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, Wake Visual Artists Association, and Capital Art League, a critique group.
