Alison Beckwith, Public Relations Manager
Alison Beckwith
Alison knows how to get the word out. Since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she's arranged hundreds of print, radio and television interviews for various clients.
For the last few years, she's spread the word about Rosen Law Firm's one-of-a-kind approach to divorce and knowledgeable staff. She's helped bring national attention about the firm on the topics of divorce, child custody and domestic violence.
Alison is not only driven, she's very creative. While working for a local nonprofit just out of college, she initiated a documentary film, "I'm a Stranger Here," which premiered at The Rialto Theater in Raleigh and was featured in USA Today.
In addition to being a member of the Public Relations Society of America, she currently volunteers for the N.C. Domestic Violence Commission, chaired by Rosen attorney Lisa Angel. For the last six years she's also volunteered her time to help promote Carolina for Kibera, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting poverty in one of Africa's largest slums.
When Alison's not writing up press releases on her computer, she's in front of a very different kind of keyboard. Since the age of five, Alison has played the piano, working her way from a Casio to a vintage 1910 upright grand. For the past year, she's been writing songs as well, recently releasing an album of instrumental pieces.
