Rosen Law Firm

Eileen Woudstra, Paralegal

Eileen Woudstra

Eileen, an honest-to-goodness Cary-native, earned an academic scholarship to graduate Appalachian State University, graduating cum-laude with a degree in Business Management and making Dean’s List all four years.

Then she got to work. She has a varied background in retail and commercial management, handling everything from jewelry and gifts to tennis racquets and golf clubs to trendy jeans and furniture. Along the way she planned a professional golf tournament, managed all purchasing and accounts payable for a large trucking company, and – just like something out of a Seinfeld episode – successfully overcame her complete lack of tennis prowess to run a pro shop.

Most impressive was Eileen’s role as liaison between customers and operations for a furniture transporter, where she once was able to handle, with confidence and grace, a customer whose showroom full of furniture arrived a week late. This seems to have been particularly good preparation for her role as paralegal at Rosen Law Firm where she organizes client files, schedules hearings, depositions and meetings, organizes litigation documents, provide drafts of local court forms, discovery documents, and draft letters to opposing counsel.

Her coworkers especially appreciate her sharp mind, easygoing nature and willingness to pitch in.
