Georgia Forsythe

Georgia is a Family Law Attorney specializing in Divorce, Child Custody, Alimony, and Equitable Distribution for the Rosen Law Firm. She practices in Wake County, Durham County, Orange County, Chatham County, and Johnston County in North Carolina. She takes great care in truly listening to clients, providing guidance on their case, and assisting them every step of the way. Her belief is that every client deserves not only someone who will fight for them, but also someone who will listen and support them, something she brings to her practice every single day.

Education and Academic Background

Georgia completed her undergraduate studies at NC State University, graduating summa cum laude with degrees in Political Science, International Studies, and Russian Studies (a lofty mix). She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Campbell Law School where she was involved with the Family Law Clinic, Wills Pro Bono Project, Awareness of Domestic Violence Club, and client counseling competitions.

Community Leadership and Advocacy

Georgia is a member of the Cardinal Gibbons Young Alumni Association, a program where she speaks with high school students about college, law school, and beyond. She advises and aids students in finding the right path forward for them, whether legal or not, and is excited to get more involved with their young lawyers division.

When she isn’t aiding clients through gaining custody of their children or advocating for victims of domestic violence, she loves to travel, having been to London, Paris, Bayeux, Venice, Croatia, Montenegro, Iceland (twice) and Greece in just the last 5 years. She even got to see the US women’s soccer team play in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, also cheering on the US track team. She is hoping to eventually visit all 50 states as well as every national park.
