§ 50-58. Applications to the court.Except as otherwise provided, an application to a court under this Article shall be by motion and shall be heard in the manner and upon notice provided by law
or rule of court for making and hearing motions in civil actions. Unless the parties agree otherwise, notice of an initial application for an order shall be served in the manner provided by law for service of summons in civil actions. (1999-185, s. 1.)
